YMCA of the USA: Swim Officials Level I and II Training Course

Purpose: 

To certify or recertify officials for the YMCA of the USA’s Level I and Level 2 Swim Officials.

Prerequisites (Level 1): 

Minimum age: 21 years old. Associated with a recognized YMCA Swim Team.

Prerequisites (Level 2): 

Been a Level I swim official for 1 year. Worked at least 12 sessions as Level 1 Swim Official (bring proof of meets worked).

Class size: 

Limited to 15 individuals per class.

TO REGISTER:

1. Go to www.yexchange.org and sign up for an account. You will receive an email confirmation (this may take a few days) and you will be able to access online registration.

2. To register online:

   • Log in to yexchange.org

   • Go to Leadership and Career Development (LCDC)

   • Go to LCDC

   • Catalog and Schedule

   • Search for Class Availability

   • Type in the following in course name: Swim Official or Administrative Official

   • AND/OR use zip code: 45895 then scroll to bottom and hit “Search.”

   • Select the appropriate class and register.

YOU MUST REGISTER THROUGH YEXCHANGE PRIOR TO CLASS. INSTRUCTOR CAN NOT REGISTER YOU!
